Biography:
Tezuka left primary school a tennis champion – it was only natural that he joined the Seigaku tennis team in junior high with hopes of leading Seigaku to a win in Nationals. He is naturally the object of envy both to his fellow first years and to his upperclassmen who do not like that a spot on the regulars was filled by a freshman. One such upperclassman took to the extreme, injuring Tezuka’s arm with a tennis racquet, forcing him to drop out of the new comers tournament, but not preventing him from defeating Captain Yamato and earning his regular jersey. He is now in physical therapy for his arm with Oishi’s uncle.
Though decently unapproachable at club, Tezuka is actually very kind at heart, and typically very shy. His natural charisma draws people to him, but he is not quick to make real friends, keeping close only those persistent enough to continue to attempt to win his attention – namely, Oishi. He has not had many friends throughout his childhood, and is not accustomed to the idea of “hanging out.” His weekends are spent at home with his parents and grandfather at the Tezuka household.
